Abstract

|
Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome is a congenital overgrowth syndrome that is characterized by the presence of a wide variety of anomalies such as visceromegaly, macroglossia, abdominal wall defects, pre-and postnatal overgrowth, and neonatal
hypoglycemia.
Other distinctive features include facial nevus flammeus, hemihypertrophy, microcephaly, prominent occiput, and linear indentations of the ear lobes.
